Plentifor uses purpose-built software to calculate allocations, schedule payments and prepare reports, based on the structure agreed with you. This software uses your income, expense, bill and account information. Decisions about your structure, your requests and any changes to your arrangements are made or reviewed by our team. We do not use computer programs to make decisions that significantly affect you without human involvement, and we do not connect artificial intelligence (AI) tools to our budgeting software.
You can make general enquiries without identifying yourself, or by using a pseudonym, where this is practicable. However, we cannot provide our service without knowing who you are.
We do not use government-related identifiers, such as your tax file number, Medicare number or driver licence number, as our own way of identifying you. If we sight identification to verify who you are, we use it only for that purpose.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include using secure software and systems, limiting access to authorised team members who are trained in confidentiality, accepting instructions only from your authorised email address, and pausing unusual requests or changes to account details until we have confirmed them with you.
We keep client records for at least seven years after our service ends, to meet our legal and tax obligations. When we no longer need personal information, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it. Enquiries from people who do not become clients are kept only for as long as we need them.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to the people whose information is involved, we will notify the affected individuals and the OAIC in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

There is no charge to make a request. If providing a copy of your information involves significant work, we may charge a reasonable fee, and we will tell you before we proceed. If we refuse your request, we will explain why in writing and let you know how to make a complaint.
We take reasonable steps to keep your information accurate, complete and up to date. Please let us know as soon as possible if your details change.
